SANTA ANA -- A former Southern California police officer who was working as an unlicensed private investigator has been charged with fraud and with posting ads on Craigslist soliciting women to have sex with his dog.
Kevin Michael Sianez was charged in Santa Ana Superior Court Friday with 63 criminal counts, including 20 felony counts of grand theft by false pretense and three counts of conspiracy to commit sexual assault on an animal.
Prosecutors say Sianez did little or no work on cases after charging clients for his investigative services between 2005 and 2010.
